SOF Declares English Olympiad Level 1 Results; Level 2 Set for February
English, examined. Millions of schoolchildren, one roll number at a time.
The Science Olympiad Foundation declared the SOF International English Olympiad Level 1 results on 2 January 2026. Students in Classes 1 to 12 can check scores on the official portal, results.sofworld.org, with name, country, mobile number, email and roll number. The result also states whether a student qualifies for Level 2.
Level 2 is set for 8 February 2026, except in Maharashtra, where it falls on 15 February 2026. Only students in Classes 3 to 12 can qualify. The bar is high: the top 5 percent per class, the top 25 zonal rank holders, and class toppers who meet the criteria.
Each student receives a Student Progress Report, with section-wise analysis and ranks at school, city, zonal and international levels. Ties are settled by section marks, with the Achievers Section carrying the highest priority. Winners receive cash prizes, medals and certificates. Every participant receives a certificate.
The result is not a verdict on a child, but rather a map of where English stands. Grammar, after all, is a passport. Precise, polished prose, now put to the test.
