Nine Nonprofits, Five Hundred Applicants, One AI Toolkit
Five hundred nonprofits applied. Nine won. The odds were brutal, and the winners were brilliant.
The Zendesk Foundation named its 2025 Tech for Good Impact Award winners on November 12, 2025, in the fourth annual Global Impact Awards. Applications topped 500, the highest number in the programme’s history. Each winner receives funding and access to Zendesk’s AI-powered customer service platform.
The global winners are Disaster Accountability Project, Blue Marine Foundation, Respond Crisis Translation and Kobo. RET International won in Latin America. She Code Africa and Madhi Foundation won in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. USAHello and California Academy of Sciences won in the United States.
She Code Africa will use AI Agents to build community support for girls and women learning digital skills. Madhi Foundation will power a multilingual Parent Helpdesk in Tamil Nadu. The prize is not cash alone, but rather capability. Since 2018, the Foundation has partnered with nearly 110 organisations and donated over $50 million in software. Good intentions just got serious infrastructure.
